Grafton Street Art, Chippendale
Grafton Street, Chippendale – Street Art, Sydney – Artists; Scottie Marsh, Bastian Allfrey
Chippendale Artist Scottie Marsh’s and Brisbane-based Artist Bastian Allfrey’s 2020 Mural ‘The Ivory Tower’ highlights the actions of the Coalition, coal industry and media and desire for a “meaningful climate change policy” in light of the 2019-2020 bushfire season. It is inspired by Greenpeace’s documentary ‘Dirty Power: Dirty Country.’ Allfrey, working with acrylic and brush in recent years, believes that Art can portray ideas, inspire and make a difference
