Mad Spuds Cafe, prior to closing its Surry Hills outlet in late 2019, specialised in Irish food, Irish Art and featured ‘Hipstory Art’ by Amit Shimoni. Hipstory started as a final project in Art school and six years later has 50+ characters, has spread across the world and is used by History teachers to teach kids via illustrations
